NGO REWA Donated Food Pushcart to Underprivileged Women
16th March,2016, Purulia (West Bengal). REWA has launched its first Food Pushcart as a pilot project in 2016, March 21st, to uplift the underprivileged ladies. The ladies are properly trained under the supervision of REWA members to install the pushcart. They are provided with a branded new cart, utensils, grocery for a week and a proper uniform which includes caps, gloves, and apron to maintain the hygiene. REWA has insured to them no plastic is used.
Seeing the success of its first pushcart REWA launched more such carts to help the destitute ladies in earning their livelihood. The pushcarts have several fast food items like vada pav, samosa, pav bhji, idli, chowmein veg Frankie etc to delight the taste buds. This time they have been trained in the making of pasta, veg momos and veg Maggie.
REWA has come as an angel in our lives. They have supported us from scratch to end to launch the food pushcart because of them now we are able to live respectful life. said Gudiya , food pushcart lady.
